It is characterized by the everrose gold and stainless steel oyster watch case with the diameter of 44 mm, along with the screwed-in bottom case, and screw-plug double buckle lock waterproof crown, the 4160 self-winding movement which has got the Swiss COSC authentication and has the power reserve of 72 hours, the white paint watch dial, and the blue CERACHROM word bezel has the Countdown function, and the oyster watch strap is equipped with oyster insurance buckle, whose waterproof depth is of 100 meters. The former Rolex Explorer II is in the diameter of 40 mm, and is equipped with the Rolex 3186 movement, the red 24 hour pointer and the standard 12 hour pointer can respectively be adjusted to meet the need of the cave homework and polar explorers, and makes it convenient for the travelers to read the time of two time zones. The new Explorer II, has the same functions, but the watch case diameter has improved to the 42 mm.
