Panerai watches

Panerai was famous for being the official supplier of divers watches to the Italian navy in the 20th century. Their watches have illuminated the darkest corners of the deep ocean, accompanying Italian Navy frogmen on their secret underwater missions during World War II. In 1936, the Panerai developed the first Radiomir wristwatch protoptype – a watch with a minimalistic black dial and a brown leather strap. This watch was made for the frogmen of the Royal Italian Navy. Following the birth of the Panerai Radiomir watch, the Luminor, with its characteristic crown-protecting bridge (Panerai is probably the only brand to use this crown-protecting bridge) to enable deeper dives, first made the plunge in 1950, confirming the brand’s vocation as a maker of professional dive watches. It can be said that the Radiomir and Luminor Collections have a historical importance both to the Panerai brand itself, and to the Italian Navy who used their watches during several decades of the 20th century.

replica Rolex Sea Dweller Rolex watches

Thanks to Rolex Submariner, devised in the early 1950s, we have a layout that nearly all modern diving watches have adopted. Rolex championed the screw-down crown for added protection. The Submariner, and the tougher Sea Dweller, feature white-on-black dials, with rotating bezels that can be operated even if wearing gloves. What’s more, Rolex watches developed the helium escape valve, allowing helium gas to be released without jeopardising the movement. Probably, no other watch company has plunged into deeper waters than Rolex. For example, in 2012, Rolex was invited to join James Cameron's 2012 Deepsea Challenge submarine adventure to explore the Mariana Trench, 11,000 metres under the sea. For professional deep-sea divers, replica Rolex Sea Dweller will be more suitable for them, in especial the DeepSea, featuring a 44 mm case that guarantees a depth of 3,900 metres (12,800 ft).
