Created in 1917, Baselworld was the first watch show in Switzerland. Baselworld is the biggest international watch show with close to 1,500 watch and jewellery brands filling 141,000 square metres of exhibition hall. This prestigious show enables them to present their latest innovations, creations and collections. Today, brands from various countries are present at Baselworld and it is the great opportunity for retailers. Next I will share with you these two new Rolex watches that were introduced at Baselworld 2016 and will hopefully catch your eyes.  

The new Rolex Cosmograph Daytona looks good- new 40mm stainless steel declination with a lustrous black ceramic bezel.The ceramic bezel has in fact totally changed the appearance of this chronograph. The case still measures 40 mm and it is still waterproof up to 100 meters.  In 1963, Rolex launched the Rolex Cosmograph Daytona which is a waterproof, robust tool watch built for racing drivers. These Rolex Daytona were conceived as functional, high-performance racing drivers’ companions. In this new Rolex Cosmograph Daytona,  what dramatically improved is the quality of the movement. Now it is regulated to -2/+2 seconds a day. The power reserve is 72 hours. It is still a 4 Hz caliber and it has no silicon balance spring, but the Rolex-own Parachrom balance-spring. This handsome men’s watch comes with a high-tech sleek Cerachrom bezel in ceramic instead of the more traditional metal bezel. Plus, this replica Rolex Cosmograph Daytona is fitted with a new engine and black and white details on the dial for extra legibility.

Rolex Air-king watches are be loved for their grave, practical, not flashy style by successful people. The new Rolex Air-King appearing in Baselworld 2016, combines a more audacious design with the most advanced technology available at Rolex. The movement is hermetically shielded by a soft iron inner-case against magnetic fields. The diameter of the 904L-steel-case is 40 mm( a welcome change from the 34 and 36mm sizes of past Air-King models and much more suited to today’s watch trends), and it is waterproof up to 100 meters. The movement is precise to -2/+2 seconds per day and certified as a Superlative chronometer and has a power reserve of 48 hours. It is a 4 Hz-calibre equipped with Parachrom balance-spring.
